The UN’s study aims to inform the expert workshop and High Commissioner’s report to the Human Rights Council, pursuant to resolution 54/6 (the centrality of care and support from a human rights perspective, October 2023).
The Refugee and Migrant Children’s Consortium is a coalition of more than 90 charities and experts in the UK. Our evidence for this study focuses on concerns relating to refugee and migrant children who are or should be in care in the UK and failure to fulfil rights set out in British and international law, including the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
More information about the study is available here: OHCHR | Call for Input: Human Rights Council resolution 54/6 on the centrality of care and support from a human rights perspective.
